So we are at an end to the 3 day quote challenge and once again I’d like to thank fellow blogger Harlife for this great opportunity. Don’t forget to check out this amazing and talented writer’s blog if you haven’t already.
Since this is the end of the challenge I thought I’d side step the theme based quotes I had posted here and here. This time there isn’t a theme, but the quotes I post are the one’s that have inspired me the most in life.
“Lock up your libraries if you like; but there is no gate, no lock, no bolt that you can set upon the freedom of my mind.”
― Virginia Woolf,
This quote is so dear to my heart that I posted it on my homepage. It greets me every time I log in or access my blog. Let no one ever tell you how you should think. No one can and should have the right to fetter your thoughts and opinions. God gifted you a brain of your own, use it!
“Life is really simple, but we insist on making it complicated.“
I’m sure everyone of us has come across situations when we overthink about something or someone, when we fear the worst and crib about things, when we pick out faults in even the best of things. Contentment is a quality gained only when we learn to let go.
“You are your worst critic and your best fan.”
There is no one who knows you better than yourself. There can not be anything that you can be better at than being yourself. When you already are a champ at that, why waste time being someone else? 😉
I think you may have noticed that, inspite of my claims, these quotes are all adhering to a theme – Be you! Yes, it’s my favourite motto in life.
I really hope these quotes have, if not helped or inspired, then at least entertained you in some way. I for one had fun looking these quotes up and reflecting on them. Each one of the nine quotes I posted in the past 3 days were a reflection of what I think. I encourage you to do the same. It really helps.
And now for the last three nominations for the challenge, and the nominees are:
Thank you for reading and accepting the challenge 🙂
That’s all folks!
