This was another experiment-learn how to use fan brushes. They are a fun way to paint a myriad of things – bushes, foliage, feathers, waves, you really just need to use your imagination. Here I tried painting trees in autumn. And I used acrylic which is probably why the colours are more vibrant and stronger than the watercolour doodles I have been doing in the past.
Though that splotchy ochre up in the painting looks ugly, I still like the way it turned out, especially the underbush. Yay!

That’s true. It’s only now I’ve come to realise that most art is about the eye and the techniques. I’m having so much fun experimenting with things now. Thanks for the appreciation π
