A while back I was arguing with my husband about how I am trying my level best to lose weight, even with the time and health constraints I have. I think I’ve mentioned in this post how I had a knee injury that has left me less than whole and keeps coming back to trouble me. He was not convinced (typical!). But more importantly, he pointed out how even my diet wasn’t in line. I had to retort! I have abandoned things like chips, cookies, cakes, ghee, butter, sugar (except in coffee and tea that I take each only once in the day), ice creams and other confectioneries.
He heard me out and then said –
Oh Puhleeeze! What about chocolates? I see you feasting on those Hershey’s Miniatures everyday!!
Ummm, he got me there 😥
What can I do?
I can’t resist them!!
I mean who in their right minds can? Can you??
Don’t you go like this when you see them,
You’re on a diet?
Or Like this?
I mean, just look at all that gooey, molten, other-worldly, chocolaty goodness!
How can you resist it?
No you cannot!
I agree completely with Boromir!
So, just give in,
And save yourself some heart and tummy ache 😀
