Absolutely right. We see someone, we have money, we buy it, even if it lies around for years before we actually come around to using it. It’s not just a wastage of money and resources, it’s also a corruption out sense of satiety. Every time we splurge, our satiety meter goes up a notch and becomes that much difficult for us to feel ‘satisfied’
