TPC turns 1: Celebration and New Contest

My Dear Readers.

It gives me great pleasure to inform you all that today

TPC has completed one whole year in this Blogosphere!

I honestly don’t believe this has happened. When I started this blog a year back, I had thought that I’ll just write a post or two every month or so. Yet here I am, posting almost daily, interacting with you all on an almost hourly basis. Believe me this blog has become as important a part of my life as family.

But YOU ALL are my family. This blog would mean nothing without your support.

Thank you all so much for giving TPC your love and encouragement.

When I began blogging earnestly I had hoped that I would be able to create an atmosphere on the blog where people could actively interact and share ideas. It pleases me that the blog has achieved that. I read your comments, I read what you share with me and I also come across disagreements and it all shows that you guys are always thoughtful, articulate and truthful. Whenever I have initiated an event or a series where your active participation is required, or your help, you always deliver.

Applaud yourself folks! You’ve been too good to me πŸ™‚

  1. Pradita was happy about her first blog anniversary and she decided to host a party for her near and dear ones on the beach side; everybody were singing the congrats song when a sea gull joined the troupe and pitched in a chirp or two.
πŸ˜€πŸ˜€ Hope that was not more than 100words. Last time I was the heroine in one of your such posts, I remember dahlia turning me into a jewel thief or something like that πŸ˜‚
Congrats on your first blog-anniversary Pradita πŸ™‚πŸŒ»

  2. There’s a McDonald’s on the lakeshore near my old workplace, and it was always swarming with seagulls. I would take my breakfast out to the car, then relax and listen to the radio. One of these fellas would usually perch on the hood and watch. After a month of this, I began to think “hey, this is the same damn bird every day.” Must have had some unique markings, or maybe it was the sexy eyes. Then, one day, it was gone, never to return. I cried out “Jonathan!”, but no answer.

  3. “Where’s my tea and toast…hey! go easy on the butter, a girl’s gotta watch her figure.”

Hope you like, i wasnt quite sure if it was meant to be a single sentence of 100 words or not. And congratulations Pradita, many happy blogging years to you πŸ™‚

  4. Your line goes here contest entry, “And as I faded further into the aroma of my morning coffee, among the calm morning air bouncing off the shore, a sharp scream suddenly brought me out of my reverie. A white bird, that’s the best I could do, after all I’m not a bird watcher, on the table caught my drifting attention. Emotions are subjective, suddenly even the bird appeared to be as lost as me. Or maybe I was imprinting my thoughts onto him, or her, who knows. Somehow it’s screeching even made sense, talk about finding yourself in abstract thoughts.”
