Dear Readers,
I know I have been MIA for some days and haven’t been posting anything on any social networking account of mine.
I’m afraid things will have to be that way for a few more days, since I’m nursing my wee one for a stomach bug.
I wanted to let you all know that TPC will be back in action as soon as I can help it.
I hope you all have a great day and a good weekend.
Pradita Kapahi, 2017
Take care and best wishes for a speedy recovery to your little one!

Take care and have a good rest. Time for me to buck up health wise for a random health test showed lingering on high-risk cholesterol. Need to chuck out the extra fat.

Oh! You really should take care. That one is tricky…. If you ignore it, it starts troubling… And if you curb it, it drops drastically… Just eat sensibly and more importantly, work out regularly.

Thanks. I am bucking up and aim to reduce it to normal level with exercise. Wrapped up 40 minutes of yoga practice aaj and plan for jogging plus brisk walking.

Good going. Just take it slow and easy. I’ve suffered for a whole year because of trying to do too much too soon.

You also had cholesterol issue kya? Right now feeling shoulder pain and guess coz of exerting a bit too much aaj with 40 minutes of yoga as well as sleeping on couch.

No not cholesterol. I busted my knee running on the treadmill about a year and a half back. It was a most slow recovery and very painful too. I learnt that with workouts, you can’t to do too much too soon. You have to give your body time to adapt to working out. Slow and steady does it. So those 40 mins of yoga, I hope you didn’t try complicated asanas. Just keep it simple for the first two weeks and then take on the more difficult ones. Ditto with jogging and walking. Don’t start jogging first. Start with walks on a medium pace…. Once you become comfortable with a medium pace walk for 15 mins after a few days, then start brisk walking, then after a few days, light jogging, and then run.

That must be bad. I remember once tripping outside Gurgaon station@Gurudronacharya and had to take the plane in morning. I couldn’t walk or sit….was so painful. Thanks. It’s true and a process and will slowly warm the body to light or brisk walking plus light jog 🙂

Sports injuries are pretty bad and it feels worse because you had apparently been trying to get fitter. Nothing could be more ironical 😑 Yes, remember that slow and steadt wins the race

Yes, something that I believe in. I started exercising very late, one year back. Had I known, would have started in my 20s and that what makes my body stiff. But, good improvement as yoga Guru says 80 percent improvement 🙂

That’s great. Making the start is the most important thing. Keep at it. Don’t give up.
