Funny Quotes

No, no. This post isn’t about humorous quotes. Its about me making fun of overly sentimental quotes that I came across yesterday while researching a quote for a piece I was writing.

I don’t know why I was like this. Maybe I was exhausted and worried about my daughter’s recovery, or about the burnt lunch, or the fact that I had heaps of backlog at work. But I didn’t stop at one quote. I kept going. And this post was the result.

Enjoy folks πŸ˜€

Remember when you gave up on a book because the first few chapters were horrible? Yeah, that right there spells death for a writer.

Oh sorry. Did you mean that figuratively?

But the worst was this affirmation –

  2. Hilarious post. The one about our God being bigger than our problems was a bit harsh God-ward. A God loving person might take offence. E. g. Meah. But besides that like I love all your posts I’ve read, I loved this. I love the way your mind works and how you use words to convey your thoughts.

    • Thank you so much for overlooking that faux pas of mine. Yes, it may have been harsh for god-loving folks. But the point I was trying to make was that even though God is the greatest and biggest force on earth, out problems still need our own attention. We must do everything in our power to minimize and solve our problems, and not leave it on God, and then later lament that our problems got out of hand. Because God helps those who help themselves.

Thank you so much for going through and appreciating my posts. I’ll try to keep them as entertaining as you found them. Have a great day πŸ™‚

      • It was a wonderful piece and it’s your blog, you have the right to hammer on anything that you are passionate about. I see your point.

Thanks for sharing. I laughed hard when I read what you wrote on the pictures. I trust they will be entertaining. Thanks.
