Her head was feeling cluttered already. Three cups of morning coffee had still done nothing to unclog her brain pores. She was still standing where she had been standing for the past 2 hours – before the mirror.
‘This isn’t helping. I need a shower…. a cold one.’
Throwing off her dressing gown to the floor, she stepped into the shower cubicle, chanting ‘it’s okay, it’s okay’ to herself, willing herself to believe that it wasn’t as daunting as it seemed. But one trickle of water sent shivers running up her spine and goosebumps now dotted her skin like craters on the moon. Yes, the water was freezing, it was December after all, but she needed to shake this stupor off. Today was an important day. Scratch that. Today was THE day!
She turned the tap on and let the icy spray assault her. The drops stung like acid, even when they slithered sinuously down her curves. She was shivering already and every cell in her body seemed to beg her to step away from this torrent of ice needles, but she didn’t budge. Instead, she grabbed hold of the faucet in asinine conviction and stayed put.
‘Think, you moron! Why does it take so long for you to decide on things? Make your choice already!’
And in that moment, inspite of the sensory numbness, her desperate brain threw up an image to her that produced a scream of unadulterated jubilation from her, ‘Yes, YES!! That’s what I’ll be wearing to the date… the red dress!’

Well I have been pretty good 🙂 October is a busy month for me this year, but I’m trying my best to create balance. 😀 How are you? ❤

That’s good to know. I’ve been good too but busy with coming festivities in India. This time of the year is akin to Christmas in your part of the world. So there’s lots to do 🙂

Oh okay, you live in India, I was right 😀 Well disregard my last e-mail. I really don’t know if Shakeology reaches India, but I will double check, even for my own knowledge! But yayyy festivities are always fun! I look forward to you blogging pictures of your India Festivities! Yes, Christmas here is always my favorite ❤ I absolutely love all the beautiful decor

It’s okay. Yes I don’t thin Shakeology comes to India. But I try incorporating several try kinds of workouts in a week so I don’t get bored (which is very often). I’ll try to upload pictures. Thank a lot for your wishes. Have a great day 😊

All good dear. How’s your lil one doing?
How was your last fone free day? Haven’t heard from you for long…

I’ve been good. Little one is great too. How are yours? I didn’t have a Fone Free Day last month because it was Dusshera that day. I had a lot going on that day so not having the phone around would have been a problem. But I did notice that you had another successful one. Kudos! Will head over to your blog and check out your note on it 😀😀

Yeah, sometimes the phone becomes an evil necessity. Anyways, awareness is the first step, and we have successfully taken thay. So, chill and keep the show going buddy..👍

Pradita, it read like an excellent profiling for me as I could participate in the details.
And then like I said, I am just a learning follower trying to understand my high profile lead bloggers like you

‘High profile’…. That’s too lofty… Please please, temper that a bit 😁😁😁 But thank you so much. Your words always encourage me

The mere mention of Chronicles is like an ‘epic’ to me.
Can I stay that way?😊

I don’t know where my earlier response has gone.
That was to tell you that your posts are super and the use of ‘Chronicles’ sound so epic to me and I want to keep it that way. Your follower who is adoring the talent 😊

Really? So much trouble for a dress? Really? I can stop laughing. I’d rather jump into a denim and a sweatshirt, if it’s so chilling 😀
It was written so perfectly though.

You can or can’t stop laughing? If you can then I’ve failed, and if you can’t then thank you for putting a smile on my face. I agree with you, I’d also jump into my comfiest clothes, but some women, including me ‘sometimes’, get like that. 😁

Hahaha, you did a great job.
And I mean’t “can’t” 😀
I know, sometimes even I get like that, just wondering for hours what to wear. Like even now I am absolutely clueless what to wear on Diwali, and I am pretty sure I am not going to make up time to buy anything new 😀
