A good book feels like home.
When you leave it’s world behind, you yearn to get back to it. You find yourself uncomfortable in the real and present world that feels alien to you.
You seek those who have read the same book and you connect with them like compatriots of the same nation.
You discuss the nuances of that world with as much ease and fervor as an emigrant or an exile.
And when you do return to it, you feel like you’ve returned to family.

Recently I have been dying to read some of my favourite books but I can hardly find time to cope with my daily routine.
Yet, this post makes me want to do it anyway, 🙂

Completely agree with you. That yearning to return back to that world is so strong, sometimes the interest in real world is lost because of it.

Bonne journée on bonsoir
gros bisous
Bernard

Dear Bernard, you took my breath away with that little yet evocative poem of yours. Yes, I smell the sweet scent of this friendship and I know its fragrance will last long. Thank you, as always. Best wishes and regards to you, old friend.
