Life rushes past us in a blink. Day becomes night, night becomes day. Weeks turn to months and months to years. Some of us always seem to wonder, ‘where did all this time go’? I do that a lot too. I wish there were a pause button so you could stop time, sit back, relax and enjoy or meditate over a matter, and when you’ve come to a sort of resolution within, hit that play button again. But…
I’ve learnt that sometimes its better to just let go of the worries and tell myself, ‘stop now. Things will happen as they should. Your worry won’t change the outcome’. It’s easier said than done of course, but it’s a process learnt.

My usual way to unwind is in the company of a book and black coffee. But if my schedules permit, travelling is the best way. 🙂

Oh I’d love to travel more often too. But a book and coffee sounds a perfect way to unwind in a pinch as well. Enjoy these little moments. They help keep us sane ☺️

You spoke what I feel numerous times, how things move so fast and we need to stop and breathe…something we take for granted Pradita. Beautiful reflection.

Thank you! I too have been reflecting on this a lot! A lot! This year has been super-hectic from the start and a sloth like me doesn’t like it one bit.

Things will happen as they are supposed except our reaction. A walk in the jungle is the best thing to unwind and a great viewpoint is an additional topping! I have heard from other bloggers that there are interesting trails and hills around your city! I’m not sure if that’s feasible for you. But I’m guessing that “Pahadi” streak in you will like it!

You are quite right in pointing out that a walk in the jungle can clear your head. Lately I’ve taken many walks in the hills around Pune. There’s a post I’m working on about one such trek.
So that’s how you reclaim time for yourself?

Super! Monsoon is a great time I suppose!
That’s how it was for quite some years. I have been off it for last 6 months! 😦

I usually unwind by picking up a good book and getting lost in between its pages. Music & meditation also work great for me.

Those are good ways of reclaiming lost time and unwind. I do that too, if time permits. Thanks for reading and sharing Ma’am 😊
